Busy Week and blog hop

We had such a busy week. To save money we did not have a vacation this year. We still wanted to do something special with our girls before they went back to school though. Saturday we went to the Buffalo Wing Fest in a local town. http://www.buffalowing.com/ We have gone every year for the past few years. We spend more than we normally would on something like this but it is a spurge that the whole family looks forward to. My favorite wings were a Thai PB&J and a blackened wing both by a Resturant called Moosehead Grill from NC.

The following day we went to the Balloon Festival. http://www.nysfob.com/ We have never been. It was a bit of a drive but well worth it. Kids were free and adults were $5. We took a packed lunch and a cooler with bottled water which we had to keep in the car.

We got to see just shy of 30 hot air balloons launch at 6 pm. It was such a nice day. Monday we relaxed and got everything ready for our girls to go back to school. Our oldest started 2nd grade and our baby started kindergarten. I have to admit after being home for 7 years I was left with a little bit of a what now feeling.
